Export Coordinator
Air Export Coordinator – Tilbury, Essex – Up to £35,000
An experienced Export Coordinator is required for a successful Freight Forwarder based in Tilbury, Essex
The successful Export Coordinator will be tasked to complete all things Air freight from start to finish.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 09:00am to 17:00pm – Monday to Friday
The Package:
- Salary £25,000- £35,000 (DOE)
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Pension – company contribution
- Annual performance bonus
Job responsibilities:
- Communicating with customers, hauliers and carriers.
- Arranging bookings with lines and carriers.
- Arranging collections making sure to meet vessel/ flight deadlines.
- Completing customs entries.
- Raising export documentation and manifests.
- Checking with warehouses that screening and check weighing have been completed.
- Finalising all documentation
- Checking vessels/flights have been met.
- Invoicing and sending pre-alerts
Requirements:
- Two years’ experience minimum in export operations in airfreight. (UK-based experience only)
- Experience completing export documentation, including checking country requirements and raising Certificates of origin if required.
- Experience in completing customs declarations.
- Experience of CNS and Destin8.
- Experience of Multi-freight.
