Export Clerk required for a thriving Freight Forwarder in Basildon

The Export Clerk position is an exciting and challenging varied role for someone with experience or some basic understanding of the role with the drive to learn and thrive with the company

Export Clerk package: £20K – £28K depending on experience. Monday- Friday 9:00- 17:15. Training and onsite parking.

The Export Clerk role: Receive B/L instructions from clients, send to back office for entering in the system, monitor Receive UCR no from clients and send to Back Office Chase for missing information i.e. Bill of lading instructions and UCR’s, Receive amendments from the client, amend bill of lading and resend draft for approval. Raise invoices and issue credits to overseas agents. Check Vessels have sailed. Add ROE and sailing date into the file. Send shipped on board notices to clients. Send file to Back Office to complete Final bills and Invoicing, once completed by Back Office we check all is correct. Printing off original bills of lading, stamp and sign, post to customer complete export entries Complete AMS entries Associating UCR’s to the MUCR Close MUCR and DCON to ensure all is correct. Liaise with customers and agents through email and telephone.

Requirements

Previous experience within Exporting cargo is essential.
