Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

My client, an established Freight Forwarder are in search of an experienced Export Shipping Operator to join their successful team based in Woodford Green, London.
Job Description
Responsible for handling shipments from beginning to end. The potential candidate would be responsible for working with the more general freight market with jobs from start to finish. This would include sourcing rates and quoting the clients, arranging collections, booking carriers, creating and amending documentation such as bills of ladings or airway bills and invoicing jobs out. Attention to detail is key and all jobs will require an organised individual to ensure timely tracking and accurate details on paperwork.
From You:
- At least 2 years of experience in export shipping
- Knowledgeable in Incoterms, customs regulations, and export documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software
- Experience in using freight forwarding and customs clearance software systems
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
