Express Freight Coordinator – Lichfield – Up to £37,000
Our client, who are an international logistics company are looking for an Express Freight Operator to join their team in Lichfield.
As the Express Freight Operator, you will be tasked to coordinate UK & European express shipments for the company‘s customers.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £37,000
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:-
- Co-ordination of UK & EU Express shipments (Export and Imports)
- Responsible for invoicing & profitability
- Responsible for Customs entries (CDS)
- Processing of HMRC queries through to resolution and closure, minimising duty/tax
- Obtain prices for UK work for prospects of Sales Executives
- Monitoring of same-day shipments.
- Problem-solve for customer
- Confirming collections and deliveries
- Staying updated with time-critical shipments.
Requirements:
- Experienced in dealing with Express or time-critical shipments
- Experienced with a UK-based logistics company (2 years min)
- Experience in customs entries (desired)
