Fabricator/Assembly Engineer – Newark
Due to impressive growth my client is immediately recruiting for an experienced Fabricator/Fitter/Welder to assemble, install new machinery and perform modifications when neccesary to existing bespoke machinery and turn-key materials handling systems.
The company have a successful portfolio of UK and worldwide clients within manufacturing industries ranging from Rubber and Plastics to animal feeds, power generation food & beverage and recycling.
The role:
- Responsible for in-house fabrication of frameworks and similar machine components together with machine assembly
- Installation of new machinery
- Modifications to exisiting machinery including welding
Requirements:
- Knowledge of machine fabrication, assembly and installation
- Strong fabrication & welding experience
- Preferred experience within the materials handling machinery sector
- Proven ability to interpret manufacturers drawings
- Pneumatic & electrical controls knowledge benefitical
Package:
- Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
- Flexible working available
- O.T is offered
- Early finish on a Friday
