Job Title: FCL Sea Freight Operator
Location: Basildon
Hours: Monday – Friday / 0900 – 1730
Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities – FCL Sea Freight Operator
Arranging FCL Sea shipments both Import & Export
Liaising with suppliers, carriers, and overseas offices
Operate within company general procedures and requirements.
Liaising with overseas offices to arrange shipments.
Generating invoices per the terms of shipment & costing of files correctly to maximise profitability.
Generating quotes for any enquiries for customer or overseas offices both Import & Export
Follow ups on any quotes.
General day to day customer service and administration
Knowledge Requirements – FCL Sea Freight Operator
Documents required for international (maritime) transport both Import & Export
Transport regulations.
Good Geographic understanding
Local (port) regulations
HM Customs regulations
CNS, CDS & Destin8, Excel & Word
Skills and personal attributes
Accurate and well organised
Ability to perform under pressure.
Team player
Good communication skills written and verbal.
