Location: Manchester (Field-based)
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 basic + Company Car + Uncapped Commission
Hours: 37.5 per week (flexible start/finish times)

I’m currently working with a leading organisation within the environmental and waste management sector to recruit a Field Sales Executive in the Manchester area. The Role
As part of a high-performing regional field sales team, you will play a key role in driving new business across your territory. This is a client-facing role where you’ll be out in the field, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
You will be responsible for:
- Proactively securing new business opportunities and achieving sales targets
- Building strong, long-term relationships with customers across your region
- Understanding client requirements and presenting tailored, solution-led proposals
- Managing your pipeline, including leads, quotes, and contracts via CRM systems
- Delivering engaging presentations and negotiating effectively at all levels
- Collaborating with internal teams across operations, customer service, and commercial functions
- Promoting sustainable, resource-efficient solutions and helping clients improve their environmental impact
About You
My client is looking for a motivated and ambitious sales professional who thrives in a field-based environment.
You will ideally have:
- A proven track record in sales, with a strong focus on winning new business
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
- Experience using CRM systems and managing a structured sales pipeline
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- A collaborative approach and team-oriented mindset
Experience within waste management, recycling, or environmental services would be advantageous, but is not essential-full training will be provided.
