Fine Art Freight Coordinator – SE London – Up to £40,000

Location: SE London, UK
Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

About the Role

Our client, a specialist within the Fine Art Shipping sector, is looking to recruit a skilled and organised Fine Art Freight Coordinator. This position plays a key role in delivering excellent service to clients while supporting internal teams to ensure efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring expectations are clearly managed.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the department to support smooth and efficient operations.
• Communicate confidently with clients via phone, email, and in person, delivering a high level of customer service.
• Work closely with the Head of Department to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
• Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times.
• Manage administrative tasks in support of both client requirements and departmental needs.
• Take part in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Maintain a professional approach at all times and contribute positively to the team environment.
• Remain flexible to travel when required and provide support to other departments if needed.
• Assist with general office duties, including answering calls and handling ad hoc requests.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with a UK-based Fine Art Shipping company is essential.
• Strong background in client-facing roles with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience with customs clearances would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
