Freight Administrator
Freight Administrator – Fareham – Up to £25,000 (Temp to Perm)
Job Summary:
Our client are seeking a detail-oriented Invoicing Administrator to join their logistics team in the Fareham area. As an Invoicing Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes within their department, where your attention to detail and ability to work with data will be essential for maintaining financial integrity and supporting their logistics operations.
NOTE: Please know that this is a temp to perm basis
Salary: Up to £25,000
Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm – Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Generate and process accurate invoices for logistics services.
- Verify and reconcile billing information.
- Collaborate with internal departments for necessary data.
- Review shipping documents and resolve discrepancies.
- Support accounts with their import and export needs
- Address customer billing inquiries.
- Maintain invoicing records and databases.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices.
Requirements:
- Previous administrator experience, preferably in logistics.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
