Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Holidays: 21 days + bank holidays

We’re working with a growing freight forwarding business in Chandlers Ford who are looking for an experienced Multimodal Freight Forwarder to join their friendly operations team.

This is a varied role covering sea, road, and air freight, handling imports, exports, and cross trades for a diverse range of customers. The ideal candidate will have a sea freight bias but enjoy the variety that comes with working across multiple transport modes.

The Role

• Handle day-to-day operations across sea, air, and road freight.

• Manage both import and export shipments from start to finish.

• Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, and customers.

• Prepare and issue documentation such as bills of lading and invoices.

• Track shipments and proactively resolve any issues or delays.

• Provide excellent customer service and build lasting client relationships.

• Customs knowledge or clearance experience would be an advantage.

About You

• Proven experience within a freight forwarding environment based in the UK.

• Strong operational understanding of sea freight; road and air knowledge beneficial.

• Able to manage the full shipment process confidently and independently.

• Knowledge of customs procedures is desirable but not essential.
