Location: Stamford

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 (DOE)

My client is looking to expand their Freight Forwarding team and are looking for Freight Forwarders, Account Managers and Supervisors/Managers who can bring a range of operational experience to their company. The right candidate will have experience in Air, Road or Sea Freight Forwarding Operations and can have previous supervisory or managerial experience within the industry. Experience in Import and Export management and operations will be considered.

• Annual Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 (DOE).
• Full time: Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working within a dynamic team to deliver freight forwarding expertise for customers across the globe.
• Support the operations team and drive improvements.
• Development of new and existing business.
• Arranging movement of freight from origin to final destination, both international and national.
• Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Freight Forwarder/Manager.
• Air, Road or Sea Freight Forwarding operational experience.
• Having Deep-Sea operations knowledge would be a bonus.
• Import and export customs knowledge is desirable.
• Managerial or Supervisory experience is desirable.
• Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
• Excellent customer service.
• Good verbal and written communication.
