Freight Operations Manager – Totton
The Freight Operations Manager will oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient freight forwarding, transport scheduling, and customer satisfaction. You will manage a team of coordinators, track shipments, resolve operational issues,manage customs clearance and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:30am to 17:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise operations and manage team performance
- Oversee transport schedules and ensure timely deliveries
- Manage customs clearance processes and documentation
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Analyze data to optimize operations and reduce costs
Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics/operations management
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of global freight forwarding and customs regulations
