Position: European Operations Manager – Freight Forwarding
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (Negotiable) + Branch Bonus & Incentives + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Your mission:

🚛 Operations Guru – Oversee the full freight forwarding cycle, from quoting to implementation and process management, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
📈 Sales & Growth Partner – Support the MD with retaining key clients, helping the new biz team win accounts, and adding commercial value.
👥 Customer Champion – Be the go-to person for “House Accounts,” keeping clients happy and resolving queries like a pro.
🏆 Team Leader Extraordinaire – Manage, mentor, and motivate a team, guiding them through change with professionalism and adaptability.
🔍 Efficiency Expert – Identify weaknesses, improve processes, and ensure we’re always at the top of our game.
🎯 Service Superhero – Maintain the highest service standards and continuously seek ways to elevate performance.

What you bring to the table:

✅ 5+ years’ experience in European road freight operations – you know your customs docs, import/export procedures, and logistics inside out.
