Freight Sales Executive – Internal

Position: Internal Freight Sales Executive
Industry – Logistics & Freight Forwarding
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: Mon – Thursday 8:00-18:00. (4 DAY WORKING WEEK!)

Our client is a leading provider of international freight forwarding and logistics services. Due to continued growth plans, we are now hiring for an Internal freight sales executive to handle inbound enquiries, and provide information on our services to customers and price requests. You will also be required to generate new business leads and develop new customer accounts.

This role would ideally suit a customer service champion who is able to communicate our services effectively and efficiently with new and existing customer enquiries. We are seeking a proactive individual who is confident and willing to pick up the phone.

Internal Freight Sales role:

• Providing new and existing customers with service solutions and quotations based on their individual requirements.
• Offer ocea, air and road freigth services and provide quotes and pricing for new customers.
• Ensuring overall customer satisfaction by promptly and efficiently handling enquiries by telephone and email
• Coordinating the customer journey from point of initial enquiry, liaising closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition
• Providing Sales Manager, Key Account Managers, Sales Executives with administrative support as required

The candidate:

1. A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar customer-driven role within the transport & logistics industry
2. Well organised, with excellent administration and customer service skills
3. Be strongly skilled in problem-solving, with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
4. Have a strong work ethic and be eager to learn
