Senior Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Head of Health, Safety & Quality to lead and shape safety and quality standards across our clients operational sites, including warehouses, distribution centres, and transport operations. This is a senior leadership role within a growing and well-established organisation, offering the chance to influence safety culture, drive compliance, and implement best practice across multiple locations.

The Role

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and maintaining robust health, safety, and quality strategies across the organisation

• Leading multi-site safety initiatives, including warehouses, fleet operations, and logistics activities

• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and industry regulations

• Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments to drive continuous improvement

• Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

• Setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and reporting trends to senior management

• Developing, mentoring, and managing internal HSEQ teams across all sites

• Collaborating with operational managers and stakeholders to embed a proactive safety culture

• Acting as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors

About You

The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic HSEQ professional with a proven track record of managing safety and quality across operational environments. Experience in logistics, transport, distribution, or multi-site operations is highly desirable.

You will likely have:

• Significant senior leadership experience in health, safety, and/or quality management

• Strong knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO9001, ISO45001) and compliance frameworks

• Experience delivering audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations

• The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership

• Professional health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent

• A focus on continuous improvement, safety culture, and operational excellence
