Head of IT – FMCG
We are currently searching for a hands-on Head of IT to join this multi-site international FMCG business. You will be joining during a business-wide digital transformation. The main focus aside of this is continued development of the IT architecture with a bias on software. Leading a small knowledgeable team not only will you be the architect but also required to be part of the work group.
An FMCG sector background and located within an hour is essential. Working from home is not regularly possible in this role.
Main Duties
- System architect and leader of the workgroup
- Lead team of 3
- Software focused projects
- Full Project Management; scope, planning, sourcing, testing, scheduling, and implementation
- Financial reporting, negotiating contracts & budgetary control
Requirements:
- A background working in an FMCG company is preferred
- Several years experience at a senior level leading an IT function with users of 200+ across multiple sites
- Likely to currently be Head of IT, IT Manager or similar
- Strategic management experience and able to operate at senior management team level within a corporate enterprise
- Demonstrable experience of instigating, managing and delivering projects
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL, Exchange, Terminal Server/Citrix, Nav
