I’m recruiting a Head of Manufacturing to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Gloucester.
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for a c. 60 person department. Previous experience may have been as a Senior Production Manager, Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Manufacturing Manager or similar.
The Role
- Implementing the manufacturing strategy for the business, focusing on safety, capacity, efficiency and quality.
- Directing and driving lean manufacturing and 5S principles throughout the manufacturing departments.
- Driving continuous improvement within the manufacturing area, setting ambitious targets.
- Reinforcing best working practices
- Participate and lead high-level change management projects
You
- Previous experience in similar Senior Manufacturing role such as Senior Production Manager, Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Manufacturing Manager
- Experience driving lean manufacturing and 5S principles
- Proven track record within challenging, high-paced environments
- Within commutable distance of Gloucester site
Package
- £65,000+ base salary, depending on experience
- 26 days of annual leave + bank holidays
