Location: Eastleigh

Hours: 16-25 hours; can be flexible for the right candidate

About the Role

In this key position, you’ll develop, maintain, and continuously improve Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) programmes across our site. This is a hands-on, influential role where you’ll partner with teams throughout the business to ensure compliance, awareness, and a genuine commitment to safe working.

You’ll be the go-to expert for HSE guidance-leading audits, delivering training, maintaining accreditation, supporting emergency response, and driving 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.

This part-time role offers flexibility, impact, and the opportunity to shape the future of our safety standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Implementing and monitoring HS&E programmes, policies, and procedures

• Maintaining external HSE accreditations and engaging with auditors and stakeholders

• Leading safety audits and ensuring corrective actions are completed

• Developing and delivering HSE training, including new starter inductions

• Driving 6S initiatives and carrying out system gap analyses

• Managing incident reporting, near misses, hazards and sharing KPI insights

• Participating in the site emergency response team

• Overseeing risk assessments and control of contractors
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) with relevant professional HSE experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001

• Excellent communication, auditing, and training abilities

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to high standards

Bonus skills (not essential):

• Experience in facilities management

• Experience within a LEAN / 6S culture
