As they continue to grow, they are looking for a talented HVAC Design Engineer to join a team of 3 other designers

Background

A skilled HVAC Design Engineer to play a key role in designing and optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design and will be passionate about creating energy-efficient and sustainable solutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Conduct heat load calculations, energy modeling, and system simulations.
• Design and develop HVAC systems, including equipment selection, ductwork design, and pipe sizing.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulations.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
• Assist in the coordination of HVAC installations and commissioning activities.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in HVAC system design, including experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with sustainability and energy-efficient HVAC design practices.

Package:

• Salary £40,000 to £60,000 depending on level of experience
• Hybrid working
• 8% pension
• 28 days holiday
