HVAC Service Manager

My client is looking for a Service Manager who has a background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning or chillers. This is suitable for a Service Manager, Supervisor or other management candidate such as a project manager or contract manager who possesses experience of managing a team and service projects

This will involve travel to London

Package:

• Salary £45,000 – £55,000
• Company bonus
• Company vehicle (Tesla) or allowance
• Hybrid working
• 28 days holiday
• 8% pension

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of HVAC engineers to deliver outstanding service and ensure they are well-equipped with the necessary tools, training, and support
• Quality Control: Monitor service quality and adherence to industry standards, providing guidance and feedback to the team as needed to ensure excellent workmanship
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process
• Scheduling: Effectively plan and manage technician schedules, dispatching them to service calls and projects, while optimizing efficiency and meeting deadlines
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of parts and equipment to ensure proper stock levels are maintained, minimizing delays in service delivery
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices, implementing safety measures and protocols
• Budget and Cost Control: Manage department budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency to maximize profitability

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in HVAC service and repair, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and industry standards
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Proficiency in computer software for scheduling and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Office)
