Position – Imports Coordinator
Location – Wednesbury
Salary – Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours – Monday – Friday 37.5 hours
Key Responsibilities – Imports Coordinator
Proficiently handle the end-to-end coordination of sea, airfreight, and road shipments, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Oversee imports, with a primary focus on ocean shipments (80%) while also managing road and airfreight.
Collaborate with external port/airport customs clearing agents for import customs clearances, streamlining the process and ensuring compliance.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
Efficiently manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver an exceptional level of service to our clients.
Experience required – Imports Coordinator
Previous experience in import coordination or a related role is highly desirable.
Knowledge of import regulations and procedures is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, clients, and customs clearing agents.
A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a dedication to achieving results.
