Industrial Services Technical Sales Manager

Location: West Midlands, UK (Field Based)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field and working in real industrial environments rather than behind a desk.

The role blends technical knowledge with commercial responsibility, involving site visits to assess industrial and hazardous service requirements, developing practical solutions, and turning opportunities into secured work.

The position should be well suited to candidates with an industrial services background who understand how sites operate, can spot where value can be added, and have the confidence and commercial mindset to build relationships and win business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit customer sites (4-5 days per week) to assess industrial cleaning requirements
• Evaluate scope of work and determine technical and commercial viability
• Identify suitable solutions including jetting, tank cleaning, confined space works and chemical decontamination
• Follow up leads, arrange visits, and manage the sales process from start-to-finish
• Liaise with operations and technical teams to ensure compliance and easy handover for work required for new customers

Requirements:

• Background in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste, or industrial services
• Previous sales, business development, or client-facing commercial experience
• Understanding of high-risk industrial environments and site-based work
• Knowledge of jetting and/or confined space work (training or licences advantageous)
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work in a field-based role
