Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

Working in conjunction with an award-winning multi-office MEP Building Services Consultant who are seeking to add a Intermediate standard Electrical Design Engineer to their Newcastle team at present.

Our client provide a wide variety of professional MEP services with project experience and understanding across a multitude of sectors ranging from small scale refurbishments to high-end multi-million pound contracts.

This position provides an opportunity for a junior or intermediate level Electrical Design professional to progress and further their career under the guidance of knowledgeable, experienced design engineer professionals within the evolving group.

The Role –

– Production of detailed Electrical system design layouts, schematics, specifications in line with building requirements

– Strong communicator capable of offering acquired Electrical phase knowledge with project professionals such as clients, contractors, architects, further

– Able to develop skillset to gradually achieve point of autonomous working as well as assisting Senior colleagues across varying projects

Requirements –

– Relevant Engineering degree, such as HND / HNC or higher level qualification with Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, alternate

– Previous Building Services and/or Electrical practical working knowledge

– Ideally have prior experience in using Revit software

Package –

– To £40k per annum

– Additional day leave for every year with the company
