Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

Working in conjunction with a MEP Building Services Consultant specialist currently seeking a Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer professional to join the Chichester office team at this time.

The established dual-office independent consultant are able to offer expertise from condition surveys, feasibility studies, through to design capabilities, project management and final inspection and work sign-off.

Since inception more than 20 years ago our client have been providing high quality delivery of a multitude of projects from refurbishment to new build across Residential, Healthcare, Educational and further areas.

This Electrical Design Engineer position gives the chance for an ambitious, self-motivated, autonomous professional the opportunity to progress within the practice and operate alongside experienced Building Services design industry experts.

The Role –

– Able to undertake autonomous responsibility on varying projects from drawing, design, calculation, technical reporting, further duties

– Communication with client and further professionals involved on each individual project

– Conducting site surveying, witnessing commissioning and provide regular updates on progress and technical reporting

– Working on individual projects with Mechanical and Electrical design colleagues

Requirements –

– Possess relevant degree or equivalent in order to undertake successful career within Building Services Engineering

– Client and Contractor facing position previously held, experience in communication with external project professionals

– Ability to draft and write own design reports, site surveying

– Capable user of Electrical specific software such as AutoCAD, Amtech, Relux

Package –

– To £55k per annum

– 25 days holiday allowance yearly, excluding bank holidays
