Are you looking to get off the tools or a mechanical engineer or building services engineering graduate looking to get in with a global leader in the HVAC industry?

My client is a global HVAC business with a reputation for producing exceptional products that are used in commercial, residential and industrial applications all over the world.

This would suit an application engineer, pre-sales engineer, project engineer, contract engineer, mechanical engineer or building services engineer in an office-based engineering roles such as applications, pre-sales or contract engineering. Also open to experienced air conditioning engineer, HVAC engineer, chiller engineer or commissioning engineer who are looking to come off the tools and move to an office environment

Package:

  • Salary £38,000 to £42,000
  • £3,000 bonus paid quarterly
  • Hybrid working, 3 days in the office
  • 33 holiday
  • 8% pension
  • Private health insurance

Requirements:

  • Formal engineering qualifications such as a degree, diploma or currently an air conditioning, HVAC engineer or heating engineer looking to come off the tools
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and industry trends
  • Familiarity with HVAC software tools, CAD, and simulation software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits and customer meetings


Responsibilities

  • Possess a thorough understanding of our HVAC product offerings and their applications
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor products
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our HVAC systems
  • Work closely with the sales team to create detailed and customized proposals for clients
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive technical documentation to support proposals
  • Engage with customers to assess their technical needs and address any concerns
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and internal technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide training to sales teams on new products and updates to existing products
  • Develop and deliver technical training materials for customers as needed
