Internal Sales Engineer / Customer Support Engineer – Mechanical Engineering

Internal Sales Engineer / Customer Support Engineer required to join a growing manufacturer of industrial components, supplying into the oil & gas and chemical sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of customer support, technical sales, and engineering know-how.

As part of the internal sales department, you’ll be instrumental in delivering responsive, high-quality support to customers while helping the business grow in key markets.

The Package:

• Salary up to £45,000 doe

The Role:

• Responding to customer enquiries with detailed, tailored technical and commercial quotations.
• Working closely with external sales team to identify and pursue new opportunities.
• Managing the full order process – from initial enquiry to quote submission and follow-up.
• Maintaining project database and CRM system with up-to-date information.
• Supporting customers by providing clear, accurate information.

Requirements:

• A background in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in a sales or customer focused role.
• Mechanical engineering qualification (Degree, HND, or equivalent) would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
