Internal Sales Engineer
Role: Technical Sales Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience
Our client is a leading supplier of pumps, pumping systems, and fluid handling solutions serving industrial, commercial, and municipal markets. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Internal Sales Engineer to join the sales team. In this role, you will provide technical sales support, prepare quotations, and deliver tailored customer solutions, working closely with external sales teams, engineering, and operations to ensure our clients receive accurate and timely support for their pumping requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding pumps and pumping systems
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and product specifications
- Liaise with engineering and operations teams to ensure correct solutions
- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Support external sales teams and attend occasional customer visits or trade shows
- Maintain CRM records and sales documentation
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in internal sales or technical sales within the pumps industry
- Strong technical knowledge of pumps, systems, and fluid handling equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Proficient with CRM and MS Office
