Internal Sales Executive
Job Title – Internal Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding
Report to – Branch manager
Salary – £30k – 40k – subject to experience
Location – Crowthorne
Full time – Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:30pm
25 days annual holiday + bank holidays
On site parking
Company Pension Scheme available
System used – Cargowise
Requirements of the Role:
Basic standard of education – up to GCSE standard or equivalent
Good Communication; verbal, written and telephone skills
computer skills – Word, Excel, outlook
Good numeracy skills
minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales role within Freight Forwarding
Understanding of the Freight Forwarding business
Good customer service and negotiation skills, friendly and professional
attention to detail
Ability to work at speed in a competitive / pressurised environment
To provide accurate quotations for Air, Sea and road freight
Able to work as a part of a team
Daily Tasks:
To arrange and complete competitive and accurate pricing for Bids, Tenders and General Quotes, Air, Sea and Road
Generating quotes via the cargowise system
Dealing with airlines and sea carriers to obtain competitive rates
Handover details and instructions of shipments secured to the operations team
Follow up on quotes
Liaise with UK customers and Overseas partners / agents
Dealing with any related queries
