Title: International Freight & Customs Coordinator
Location: Aylesford
Salary: £30,000 DEO
Hours: Monday to Friday

We’re working with a well-established and growing freight forwarder who are looking to add an International Freight & Customs Coordinator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety of working across imports, exports, and freight operations – with a real focus on customs documentation and compliance.

Whether you’re an experienced Customs Clerk looking to step into a more rounded operational role, or a Freight Operator with solid customs knowledge, this one’s for you.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing import, export and cross-trade movements from start to finish.

• Preparing and submitting customs declarations and reviewing all clearance paperwork.

• Handling ATA Carnets and Temporary Importation documentation.

• Building strong relationships with clients, hauliers, and suppliers.

• Preparing quotations, checking rates, and keeping tariffs up to date.

• Keeping customers informed throughout and ensuring a smooth shipment process.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience within freight forwarding / customs clearance within the UK

• Solid understanding of UK Tariffs and market trends

• Good knowledge of freight operations.

• Knowledge of handling ATA Carnets, Temporary Importation

• Someone proactive, reliable, and confident managing multiple shipments at once.
