Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

Working closely with an MEP Building Services Engineering Consultant practice based in Edinburgh who are currently looking to add a Junior standard or higher level Mechanical Design Engineer at this time.

Our client possess a team of highly-qualified Mechanically and Electrically specific engineering specialists with vast industry understanding and experience.

Project services provided and offered scale from preliminary planning and construction management to further services upon completion of works.

The right candidate will need to uphold and align to the high standards set within the practice, having seen various projects undertaken previously nominated for industry awards.

The Role –

– Individual capable of being able to join the team and undertake Design, Drawing, Calculation, plus further areas individually

– Work closely with Senior standard colleagues on array of differing sector projects and provide personal input

– Display and implement Legislation, Standards, Building Regulations to ensure project compliance

Requirements –

– Degree qualified – within HNC / HND Building Services or relevant Engineering area

– Reaching 1 year or more working background within an M+E Building Services Consultant / relevant Design Engineer position

– Capable in the use of a range of Mechanical Design software packages including Hevacomp, IES, along with AutoCAD and further

Package –

– To £40k per annum

– Practice providing assistance progressing career

– Regular pay reviews
