Key Account Manager – Manchester, UK – Up to £38,000
Our client, an internationally recognised, multi-award-winning Logistics Company, is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their growing operation.
The Role:
Maintaining and developing your own client portfolio by proactively managing your allocated accounts, ensuring quality client deliverables are achieved and maximising potential for growth.
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 + Additional benefits & Bonuses
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years previous in experience in a Key Account Management role within a freight forwarding company is essential
- Previous operational experience across Ocean and Road Freight is essential – Air Freight experience would be a bonus
- An excellent communicator both written and verbally
- Strong negotiation skills with excellent presentation skills
- Proven track record of winning new business from existing Accounts.
- A solid understanding of customer supply chains and KPIs is desirable
- Excellent Tech skills in order to confidently sell our digital supply chain management solution is essential
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to conduct client data review and communicate to the customer the value of our offerings both strategically and financially
- Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to plan long term business growth with top clients
