The Role:
As a Key Account Manager, you will:
- Lead Account Management: Build and nurture long-term partnerships with key retail and industry clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new opportunities, and lead successful tenders to achieve growth targets.
- Provide Insights: Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to deliver tailored solutions and become a trusted insights partner.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our Commercial, Genetics, Growing, Technical, and other teams to align strategies and deliver exceptional service.
- Excel in Negotiations: Handle contracts, pricing, and terms of business with confidence and expertise.
- Deliver Results: Report on account performance, sales activities, and market trends to senior management.
What We’re Looking For:
- A proven track record in key account management, with at least 5 years’ experience in the produce industry.
- Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets and driving trade revenue optimization.
- A proactive and flexible mindset to navigate challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in planning software, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility for travel and willingness to adapt working hours to meet business demands.
- A clean UK/EU driving license.
