LCL Import Coordinator
LCL Import Coordinator – Tilbury – Up to £35,000
Our client, who are a freight forwarder are looking for an LCL Import Coordinator to join their growing team based in Tilbury, Essex.
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday – 09:00am to 17:00pm
Salary: Up to £35,000
Job Specification:
- Communicating the various customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors such as shipping lines, hauliers and depots.
- Raising internal files
- Raising Invoice
- Passing supplier invoices and querying where necessary
- Checking vessel arrivals
- Arranging collections and deliveries, making sure to meet customer deadlines.
- Following up after delivery to ensure the customer was happy and find out if there is anything else that you could look after for them.
Requirements:
- Proven successful track record of at least two years working for a small to medium sized freight forwarder.
- Experience in LCL import operations, dealing with consignments arriving by both sea freight and airfreight.
- Experience of CNS and Destin8.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and friendly personality.
- Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong and dynamic team player.
- Excellent Maths and English skills.
