A leading organization in the logistics and supply chain sector is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operational performance at its Memphis facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven leader with strong experience in distribution, freight, or 3PL environments.

The Role

As the Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient inbound and outbound operations, maintaining service quality, and driving continuous improvement across teams and processes. You will manage supervisors and front line staff, coordinate with carriers and partners, and play a key role in operational strategy for the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily logistics, warehouse, and transportation operations.

• Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams to ensure performance targets are met.

• Monitor KPIs, productivity, and cost metrics; implement process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and industry requirements.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, carriers, and 3PL partners to maintain service excellence.

• Manage resource planning, staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization.

• Support budgeting, cost control, and operational reporting to senior management.

Required Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in logistics, distribution, or freight operations management.

• Strong people-management experience in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Background in warehouse management systems (WMS), TMS, and logistics software.

• Proven ability to analyze performance data and lead process-improvement initiatives.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.

Compensation (Memphis, TN Market)

• Estimated Salary: $95,000-$115,000 per year, aligned with market data for Logistics/Operations Managers in the Memphis region (average ~$99,900).

• Total compensation may vary based on experience and operational scope.
