Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic

Maintenance Engineer/HGV/LGV Mechanic/Folklift Engineer

My client based at Portsmouth Port is responsible for landside operations and equipment within the terminal.

They are now seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic to maintain and repair key plant and equipment such as cranes, forklift trucks, heavy goods vehicles.

This role could be suited for someone who is very hands-on and works in the following job roles, Mechanical Engineer, Service Engineer, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, Folklift Engineer, Crane Engineer.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience of repairing general mechanical handling equipment
  • Experience of working at height and using MEWP’s.
  • Experience working with Folklifts, Cranes would be beneficial.
  • Current driving license.

Benefits

  • Salary £33k/£35k (Pending on experience) + Overtime at time x1.5
  • Hours 40 Hours a week Mon-to Fri 7-4 or 8-5 (1 in 4 on rota) Call out adds £2,860 to Annual Salary
