Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services & HVAC
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a mechanical contractor specialising in the design and installation of commercial buildings services systems.
The role:
- Design of mechanical services systems including ductwork, pipework and drainage sizing and layouts, plant and terminal selection, plant room design
- Autocad 2D and Revit 3D, Hevacomp thermal modelling software.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the more junior engineers
- Review and approve junior staffs design documents, calculations, specifications and external
- Oversee multiple large design projects simultaneously
Requirements:
- Mechanical pipe work & ventilation design engineer / mechanical designer experience is essential
- Qualified to HND level or higher preferred.
- Autocad and Hevacomp preferred.

- Salary up to £55K
