Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a mechanical contractor specialising in the design and installation of commercial buildings services systems.

The role:

  • Design of mechanical services systems including ductwork, pipework and drainage sizing and layouts, plant and terminal selection, plant room design
  • Autocad 2D and Revit 3D, Hevacomp thermal modelling software.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the more junior engineers
  • Review and approve junior staffs design documents, calculations, specifications and external
  • Oversee multiple large design projects simultaneously

Requirements:

  • Mechanical pipe work & ventilation design engineer / mechanical designer experience is essential
  • Qualified to HND level or higher preferred.
  • Autocad and Hevacomp preferred.

  • Salary up to £55K
