Mechanical Design Engineer – Solidworks

We are looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to join a well-established manufacturer of bespoke packaging machinery in Derby.

An exciting opportunity to work in a growing sector for someone who is already designing packaging machinery, processing machinery or similar.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing innovative engineering solutions to machine design problems.
  • To design components, mechanisms, and assemblies.
  • Product Solidworks designs for manufacture
  • To provide mechanical engineering expertise to projects from the concept stage through to commissioning.

You:

  • Extensive experience in mechanical design using Solidworks.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on packaging machinery, special purpose machinery or similar equipment.

  • £40,000-£45,000
