Mechanical Engineer – Test and Commissioning

End of Line Engineer / Mechanical Engineer – Bespoke Machinery – Build, Test, Install, Commission – Dorset

Fantastic opportunity to develop a wide range of mechanical engineering skills at a leading manufacturer of bespoke machinery with an international presence. I’m recruiting an end of line engineer / Mechanical Engineer to join my client in Dorset.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a world leader in the development, design and manufacture of packaging machinery, who offer a clear progression path and regular training on the latest technology in the sector

Previous experience may have been as a mechanical fitter, installation engineer, test engineer, commissioning engineer, service engineer, assembly engineer, mechanical engineer or similar

THE ROLE:

  • Final set up and pre-despatch testing of completed machines.
  • Travel, globally, for the purposes of machine installation, commissioning and general field service activities
  • To set-up and test machines
  • Undertake training on new machinery and upgrades
  • Run completed machine for factory acceptance tests

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Must have strong skills in one or more of the following mechanical areas; Machine build, test, fitting, setting, installation, commissioning, servicing
  • Previous experience as a mechanical fitter, installation engineer, test engineer, commissioning engineer, service engineer, assembly engineer, mechanical engineer or similar

PACKAGE & BENEFITS:

  • Salary: £31,000-£34,000
  • 39 hours per week
  • Company pension
