Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £32,000 (DOE)
We are partnering with a growing and ambitious freight forwarding business based in Birmingham, I’m currently looking to recruit an Ocean & Road Coordinator to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Freight forwarder who wants to be part of a company that genuinely invests in its people, offers outstanding benefits, and is continuing to grow year on year.
The Role:
- Managing the end-to-end processes for Ocean
- Liaising with overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers, and customers
- Preparing and checking Export documentation
- Tracking shipments and providing proactive updates to customers
- Ensuring customs clearance processes are completed accurately
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in Ocean & Road Operations (experience in either mode is essential!)
- Strong understanding of Export documentation and procedures
- A minimum of 3 years prior experience working for a freight forwarder
- Experience with start to finish operations for Road & Sea Ideally.
