The Package:
* Monday – Friday
* 9am-5.30pm
* £30K-£35K Depending on Experience
* 23 days holiday plus banks (rises with service)
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous Freight Industry experience
* Knowledge of Ocean Export procedures and practices
* Experience in negotiating or preparing rates and issuing quotations to clients
* Good IT and reporting skills
* Good communicator, both verbal and written
* Ability to organise and work as part of a small busy team
Main Duties
* Coordinating the consolidation containers mainly from the Far East
* Must have a reasonable knowledge on rebates and destination charges
* Arranging the release and unloading of containers
* Processing Quotation requests
* Follow up on quotes issued by Sales, Operations & Management
* Assisting Operations with client and carrier bookings
* Assisting Operations with export documentation, pre-alerts, AMS/ISF filings, general admin
