Location: Office-Based – Birmingham
I’m currently partnering with a highly successful, international organisation within the global supply chain and wholesale distribution sector. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an Ocean Export Coordinator to join their busy and supportive logistics team.

The Role
As an Ocean Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end ocean export shipments, ensuring efficient, compliant and timely movement of goods internationally.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating FCL & LCL ocean export shipments from booking to final delivery
Liaising with carriers, freight forwarders, customs agents and overseas offices
Preparing and checking export documentation (Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
Ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements
Tracking shipments and proactively resolving any issues or delays
Providing excellent service to internal stakeholders and external partners
Maintaining accurate records within internal systems
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, communication, and attention to detail.
About You
Previous experience in ocean export freight forwarding or international logistics
Strong knowledge of export documentation and customs procedures
Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
