Ocean Freight Coordinator
Ocean Freight Coordinator – Birmingham – Up to £30,000
Our client, who are a UK based multimodal freight forwarder specialising in logistics, e-commerce and warehousing are looking for an Ocean Freight Coordinator, who specialises in all things sea freight from start to finish.
This role will be based at their operation in Coleshill.
Job Type – Permanent
Working Hours: Monday- Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm or 9.00 am to 5.30pm
Salary: £30,000 (Dependant on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the importation of goods via ocean freight.
- As a Sea Freight Coordinator, you will deal with all aspects of imports across Sea freight, managing the entire life cycle of the sea freight import process.
- Quotations for FCL & LCL Shipments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of import activities
Requirements:
- Sea Freight Imports experience is an essential requirement for this role.
- This is a fully operational role dealing with all aspects of the freight forwarding cycle, so start to finish process experience is essential.
- Proficiency in using freight forwarding software.
- Must have experience with a UK based freight forwarder.
