Our client, a successful and well-established logistics group with multi-modal transport capabilities, is seeking a Senior Ocean Export Freight Forwarder to join their vibrant operations team based in modern, open-plan offices in Redditch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day ocean export freight operations
• Manage client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence
• Calculate, negotiate, and secure freight spot quotations
• Liaise with suppliers to secure the best rates and maintain high service standards
• Use specialist freight software (FAST FREIGHT) and customs systems (NES)
• Coordinate with internal teams including sales for smooth service delivery
• Ensure profitability through efficient operations and cost management
