Location: Manchester, Salford
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000
Job Type: Full Time
From You:
- 3+ years’ experience in Sea Export / Import freight forwarding and have a working knowledge and experience in processing export customs entries using CDS.
- Handling FCL and LCL shipments from start to finish including customs clearance, raising, and checking documentation.
- Candidate will need to have great communication skills and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
The Role:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sea Exports / Imports
- Good understanding of Sea freight processes and procedures / inco shipping terms
- Quoting overseas agents and UK customers
- Interact with UK customers and overseas agent to arrange shipments.
- Customer updates, customer requests
- Arranging transport, client updates etc
- Proving quotes to oversees agents.
- Invoicing
- Crosstrade Sea freight LCL and FCL shipments
