Ocean Freight Supervisor – Up to £40K

Salary: £37,000 – £40,000 (flexible for the right person)

The Role:
- Supervise and support a team of 3 within operations.
- Oversee day-to-day freight forwarding activities: 70% Sea Imports, plus Sea Exports and Air Exports.
- Ensure smooth departmental performance and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers, with much of the freight moving from the Far East.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong background in sea freight forwarding (import experience essential).
- Previous supervisory or management experience in freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of Far East trade lanes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Multifreight system desirable (customs knowledge not required).
