A well-established global freight forwarding organization is searching for an experienced Ocean Import Manager to lead and scale its ocean import operations. This role offers the opportunity to step into a leadership position within a stable, growth-oriented logistics environment.

Position Overview
Lead, coach, and develop an Ocean Import operations team
Oversee end-to-end ocean import processes while ensuring regulatory compliance
Partner cross-functionally to support key accounts and operational excellence
Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
Resolve complex issues through strong negotiation and communication skills
Drive performance through metrics, accountability, and continuous improvement
Maintain a high standard of customer service and team engagement
Candidate Profile
High School Diploma or GED required
5+ years of freight forwarding experience, with a strong ocean import background
3+ years in a supervisory or management role
Solid knowledge of Incoterms and international trade practices

$100,000 base salary (DOE)
