Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 DOE
Monday – Friday 09:00-17:30 (1 hour lunch)
We’re looking for a proactive Ocean Imports Coordinator to join our clients Bradford team. You’ll play a key role in managing FCL shipments from around the world, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Manage FCL import bookings from clients or sales teams and liaise with international partners and carriers.
- End to end sea freight shipments.
Maintain accurate shipment records in the system and prepare necessary documentation (notices of arrival, invoices, import manifests).
Coordinate with Customs and warehouse teams to ensure timely and compliant cargo clearance.
Work with carriers and shipping lines to ensure shipments are released only against correct documentation and cleared funds.
Keep clients informed of shipment progress and resolve any operational issues efficiently.
Ideal Candidate Experience
Previous experience in ocean import operations, particularly FCL.
- Experience working with a UK based freight forwarder.
Knowledge of import documentation and customs processes.
Good communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients and carriers.
