On-Site Lead

On-site Lead – Kidderminster – £35,000-£37,000 + Overtime Pay + Site Allowance + Van

On-site Lead required to join a leading solutions provider supplying into heavy industrial sectors such as steel works, recycling and mining.

As the successful On-site Lead you will have previous experience of fabrication tasks, mechanical maintenance, fitting and installation and will have ideally lead a team previously. Flexibility with travel and prolonged periods away from home is essential for this role.

This role has a clear development path for the right person, leading into Project Engineering positions in the future.

The Package:

Salary £34,000-£37,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hrs/week)

The Role:

• Supervise and participate in mechanical site work, including installation, mechanical fitting and fabrication.
• Lead a team of site operatives.
• Ensure quality, safety and budget compliance.
• Carry out checks on tools, PPE and equipment, ensuring readiness and compliance
• Maintain safe working practices and report site incidents or near misses
• Identify and isolate non-conforming work or materials

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor, Site Lead, Installation Lead, Installation Supervisor, Installation Manager or similar.
• Proven background in one or more: wear-resistant linings, mechanical fitting, or steel fabrication.
• Experience in shutdowns, maintenance, or large site projects
• Safety passport (ECITB or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
