Part-Time Bookkeeper – Freight Forwarding

Location: Liverpool, L3
Salary: Competitive salary on offer depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a well-established freight and logistics business. This role would suit someone looking for flexibility, with the option to work 2-3 days per week (or equivalent hours).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Sage accounting software
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
- Reconcile accounts, manage ledgers, and handle general financial administration
- Support management with accurate financial records and reporting
Requirements:
- Proven bookkeeping experience (ideally within an SME environment)
- Strong working knowledge of Sage
- Experience preparing VAT returns
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Hours & Salary:
- Part-time: 2-3 days per week (or flexible equivalent)
- Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
